My niece and nephews love Dora the Explorer. It’s all they talk about lately. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the show, it’s an animated program that comes on Nick Jr. and is about a seven year old little girl who goes on adventures to help people find something or someone. There is a lot of interaction with the episodes and the viewing audience as the characters ask the children to do things during the program. Dora’s cousin Diego is also a big part of the show as well as her monkey Boots. This Saturday you and your family can meet Dora and Diego at Zoo Atlanta!
In celebration of the Party for the Planet exhibit, guests will able to meet Dora and her cousin Diego on Saturday, April 23. The festivities will also include green exhibits, arts and crafts, and an earthworm dig. The Zoo’s annual gorilla egg hunt will occur at 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM in The Ford African Rain Forest. The Party for the Planet exhibit is free for Zoo Members, free for children under three, and free for others with general admission to the zoo. You can follow Zoo Atlanta on Facebook and Twitter.
